Family Security Matters does not stand behind or endorse any candidate for president (or any other public office). However, as the President is also Commander-in-Chief and is responsible for setting national security policy, we will be publishing a variety of articles on both the Republican and Democrat candidates for President during this election year. As always, the opinions of our Contributing Editors are their own, and do not necessarily reflect those of Family Security Matters.

Tom is a regular weekly columnist for newspapers in Maine and New Hampshire. His column is picked up by newspapers in Massachusetts and by various web sites. He writes about political and social issues, history, family, education and Radical Islam. He’s taught history for thirty years and started a business managing vacation properties in Maine “so he could afford to be a teacher”, he says. He’s done political and historical commentary for television in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. He’s been a political activist working in congressional campaigns, as an elected official, as well as on regional commissions in Maine and Massachusetts.
