Do you think President Obama will keep your family as safe from terrorists as George W. Bush did?
I fear for my children.....it took me six months to get a good night's sleep after 9-11. President Bush was the best person to lead us through those troubled times. I felt it was his number one priority. He didn't care about polls ow what was popular. He cared about keeping us safe.
Our new President....Will appeal to the left wing, he will close Gitma, he will withdraw troops from Iraq, he has chosen a horrible Nat. Security team....it is obvious that he doesn't have the same qualities to be our commander in chief during terrorist times. He will care about "image" more....sadly.....I will not be sleeping as well as I did the past 7 years.....
we are not safer under this guy. pray for us.
I hope the Obama administration paggressively pursues militant Islamists, and not just al-Qaeda.
I still can't say the words "President" or "Commander in Chief" as it pertains to this deceptive, manipulative, charlitan, phony, Barry "bullshit" Obummer. I wouldn't trust him as president of my local neighborhood watch for fear he'd be making deals with the crooks. That's the Barry we've gotten to know, I challenge any of his supporters to tell us different; He WOULDN'T produce his birth certificate as required by law and that was no big deal just like no infraction is a big deal when you people are promoting yourselves and your agendas. Maybe I'll just forget to pay my taxes this year and tell the IRS that I hiccupped but I'm really sorry. I'm already in dread of what this guy is going to implement with full cooperation of his hack, re-tread cabinet, Queen Nancy and her bunch, Prince Harry and his bunch, and the ever-cowardly, politically correct, main-stream media. I hope all you sycophants got a good price for your souls and choke on your lies. You should all be tried and convicted of high treason for placing this country and it's real citizenry in such jeopardy. How are your gated communities going to protect you when all the police are somewhere else quelling the riots? You're worthless little lives really are only flesh and blood and mortal just like the poorest among us. From all appearances at the present time, it would seem as though this administration is more concerned with going after and criminalizing law abiding citizens. Why is the criteria for holding an adminstration position one which effectively eliminates any military veteran (since they have all used firearms - and the adminstration views such people as enemies)?
What comes next? If you have the temerity to question the President or his policies, will you be charged with a hate crime by virtue of skin colour? Will the membership roster of the NRA be used as the basis for the rounding up of enemies of the administration - aka the STATE? There are some interesting questions that can be posed when you look just beneath the surface of the empty rhetoric coming out of Washington today. Where are we headed, as a people, as a nation?

Mike...you're the one who hasn't done the research. Mr. Obama has only produced a Certificate of live Birth, NOT his birth certificate. The Certificate of Live Birth can be purchased in Hawaii for around $10 and you have to fill out a form. Not to mention that what he produced was found to be a forged document and the one that he produced within weeks of the election was printed just this year; however, was also not legitiment. If he TRUELY has nothing to hide, he can produce his BIRTH CERTIFICATE which lists the name of the hospital where he was born and doctor who delivered him. He also cannot account for his re-entry back into the United States from Indonesia. His citizenship was given up when he was abround 8 years old and there is no information showing when he came back through immigration. At least none that he hasn't had sealed.
I not only voted on this election for McCain but I also swore an oath to this country to "Uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic" when I joined the Army and EVERY time I reenlisted.
Obama has not PROVEN his elegibilty under the US Constitution and therefore does not belong in the office until he does PROVE it. With Obama's closing of Gitmo, rather than turning them all loose. Might I suggest moving them all to the Whitehouse complex. They would have a state of the art fence and security system. They could be protected by some of the finest trained security detailed individuals that the government has. There would be lots of well furnished rooms and plenty of space for them to stay. And most importantly Obama could have easier access for his "kumbaya sessions" with those detainees, so they would no longer have ill feelings toward the United States.
The other advantage for the citizens of the U.S. is if we could keep all of them in the District of Columbia, you boost their standard of living and quality of life. The only downside I can think of is if they chose to leave, they would be in great danger of being a crime victum in the safe streets of Washington, it would be worse than a jungle out there for them.

Excuse me... But your poll suggests that George Bush kept us safe. Don't you remember September 11th, 2001. George Bush and his crones did nothing to stop that event even though they had full advanced warning. Look it up.
Since then, he's made our country into a laughing stock around the world at best and a hated enemy at worst. There are more terrorists being trained around the world now than ever before. We turned a dictatorship in Iraq (bad enough) into a terrorist breeding ground (far worse). We've tortured people in the name of safety, getting no good information, but setting our own soldiers and citizens up for retribution.
Finally, we have an adult in the White House and we can start making peace with the world and patching up the terrible damage that the Bush Crime Family and their cohorts caused over the last eight years. I can finally sleep at night.

I called the White House and got no answer. I called the House of Representatives and got an operator who couldn't speak English very well. I then was transferred to my Senator's phone line and was told "her mailbox was full".
