Michael Moore, known for his bashing of conservatives, demonstrated once again his stupidity and callousness on MSNBC's August 29 “Countdown with Keith Olbermann.”
Before Olbermann could even utter a vile comment about Bush or McCain, the sloven Moore laughed and opined, “I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven.” The smirking Moore went on to imply how the hurricane could not be coincidental, “To have it planned at the same time—that it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican Convention, up in the Twin Cities—at the top of the Mississippi River.”
As extreme lefties, we can expect such garbage from Moore and Olbermann. It's another story when it comes from a former National Chairman of the Democratic National Convention and a seated U.S. congressman.
Redstate.com is reporting about a conversation held on a plane from Denver to Charlotte following the Democratic National Convention between Don Fowler (ex-Dem. Chair) and Congressman John Spratt (D-SC).
In addition, to describing Sarah Palin as a “Dan Quayle on steroids,” the former democratic chairman was overheard to say, “So you see, it's funny. That New Orleans will get a hurricane. That's funny because it is due to hit when President Bush is scheduled to speak. Isn't that cool?”
Sicko Moore believes its God's work and Fowler thinks it's hilarious. Please, gentleman, share your comments with all those souls impacted by Gustav. I'm sure as Gulf Coast citizens scramble to evacuate their homes they're not laughing and thinking it's a small price to pay to get back at Republicans.
What if it had rained on the B. Hussein Obama spectacular at Denver's INVESCO Field and conservatives had praised God and laughed? I'm sure Moore, Olbermann, Fowler and Spratt would think it's neither funny nor God's work.
