November 3, 2009
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's office is clarifying Reid's Tuesday remarks that seemed to suggest health care reform might not be passed until 2010. Earlier, Reid answered reporters' questions about the end-of-year deadline for health care legislation by declaring: "We're not going to be bound by any timelines. We need to do the best job we can for the American people. We want quality legislation, and we're going to do that."
