2008 Campaign

Family Security Matters does not stand behind or endorse any candidate for president (or any other public office). However, as the President is also Commander-in-Chief and is responsible for setting national security policy, we will be publishing a variety of articles on both the Republican and Democrat candidates for President during this election year. As always, the opinions of our Contributing Editors are their own, and do not necessarily reflect those of Family Security Matters.

9-11

The horrific September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four passenger airliners and crashed them two of them into the World Trade Center and one into The Pentagon. The fourth planes crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers and crew members attempted to take control away from the terrorists. 2,974 people died as an immediate result of the terrorist attacks.
